On Friday, March 21, 2025, Asst. Prof. Nualyai Pitsachart, Vice President and Dean, Faculty of Nursing, Shinawatra University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Penchun Saenprasarn, Associate Dean for Research and International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supunnee Thrakul, Head of Knowledge Management and International Relations, Dr. Jureerat Kijsomporn, Head of Nursing Students Exchange and Col. Chalita Sukhawarn, Committee of Student Affairs, have an online meeting with Asst. Prof. Dr. Yun-Ying Hung, Department of Nursing, Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology, Republic of China (Taiwan).

The main contents focus on (1) The President of Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology and team have a plan to visit SIU in June or July, 2025; (2) Student exchange program for clinical and theoretical studies, four to six Taiwanese nursing students will be coming to study at SIU in July 2025 for 4 weeks with one Faculty member to collaborate in research and conference for one week whereas ten Thai nursing students will be going to study at Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology between August 4 and 29, 2025 with two Thai faculty members for one week; (3) The plan for the cooperated international conference will be held in the meeting room at Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology, Taiwan. The available time for the faculty in Taiwan will be from September to December, 2025. The Faculty of Nursing, SIU has a plan for this conference on November 3-4, 2025 and the hospital visit on November 5, 2025 to be considered. The evaluation of student exchange program from Taiwanese nursing students last year has been extremely satisfied. The program of exchange would be sustainable development goals (SDGs).
