On December 18, 2024, Asst. Prof. Nualyai Pitsachart, Vice President and Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Penchun Saenprasarn, Associate Dean for Research and International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supunnee Thrakul, Head of International Department, Dr. Bhanwasa Jantasin, Chairperson of Maternal-Newborn Nursing and Midwifery Department, and Lect. Paranee Thapsongsang, Chairperson of Fundamental and Professional Development Department, Faculty of Nursing, including Mr. Wei Sanji, Vice President of Shinawatra University were very warm welcome Prof. Huang Feifei, Deputy Head of the Basic Nursing Department and Prof. Dr. Song Jihong, Head of the Midwifery Department, School of Nursing, Fujian Medical University, China to visit and offer the academic cooperation for nursing students to be practicing at hospitals of Fujian Medical University, China. Some hospitals have 6,000 patient beds. The expected plan for SIU nursing students will be practicing at hospitals in Fujian. The academic exchange between teachers for teaching and conducting research and for nursing students will be performed. The host University for exchange will be responsible for expenses.
